Carnegie's Birthplace
Its November 25, 1835 in Dunfermline, Scotland and Andrew Carnegie's house (bottom) is buzzing with excitement baceuse Margaret Carnegie is about to have a baby. Once he is born they gave him the name of Andrew Carnegie. Does that name by any chance ring a bell? No? Well, after you read this website it will. While Carnegie starts growing up, he does not have much of an education. Luckly his house is full of books so he is able to read and write which comes in handy later in his life. Eight years later his little brother Thomas was born (1843). Five years after Thomas is born, his parents decided to move to America because their were better oppotunities for Carnegie and Thomas.
